Objective Bias

From all the blog posts on the subject, it seems like CFUnited was an awesome conference this year. Unfortunately I was unable to go. However, all is not lost. Brian Rinaldi has put together what is looking to be an amazing one-day conference on November 13 -- RIA Unleashed: Boston! The Flex Camp Boston events that Brian has put together the last couple of years have been really successful. But this year he stepped it up a few notches and expanded it to 3 tracks: one focused on Flex & AIR, one focused on ColdFusion, and one on user experience, design, and the business of web application development. Over 20 sessions are being planned which will be posted on the event's web site once they are finalized.

The conference features an amazing lineup of speakers. This will be particularly exciting for me since it will be the first time I'll have the opportunity to see people like Ray Camden, Peter Bell, and Andrew Powell speak in person. Another great thing is that, even in these tough economic times, the registration fee for this event is a steal! The early bird $30.00 tickets are sold out, but there are still discounted $50.00 tickets left. And even at the full price of $60.00 (for all you stragglers/procrastinators), it's a great deal for what you are getting -- the sessions, lunch, coffee, giveaways, as well as an after-party ("in the works" according to Brian).

So if you're anywhere in the Boston area, deciding to go should be a no-brainer. Even if you're farther away, you should seriously consider it. Brian has even lined up a discounted rate at a nearby hotel. So do yourselves a favor -- mark your calendars for November 13 and register.
